We have lined up some excellent guests speakers for the conference…above are a few of the talented people you can expect to meet at the 15th Islands of the World Conference from 2-7 July 2017.
We are delighted to announce that the Honorable Christopher J. Loeak will be the Key Note Speaker on Thursday morning.
This will be a multi-disciplinary Conference of academic excellence that also offers participants the opportunity to be connected with and immersed in an island community and environment. We aim for our Conference to leave a lasting legacy for our community from the wealth of expertise attending, but conversely to also share our Island story, heritage and learnings with those attending from afar. The theme of the conference is Small island communities: models for global survival.
